I love Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K universe. THis is my first space marine piece. I made a conscious effort to invest more time and energy in the background than I normally do. Hope you like him.

damn this is amazing... i find your lack of page views on this disturbing. i think people out there only have an eye for anime, angels, and my little pony pics. textures- a strong point in your work- top notch, those fallen concrete beams are unreal. atmosphere is created so well again, nice smoke fx. the AA gun fx are sweet as is the blast that's landing behing him, that motion blur is perfectly handled. variety of detail, especially the tiny text on the armor is superbly handled. rust and dirt on his legs, reflected light from the explosion... this is amazing. you just rendered the hell out of everything.

This piece is absolutely stunning, surpasses many pictures in GW publications. I love the background and the detail with which you make WH40K imagery come to life in your picture. A big FAV :)!

Great detail on the Ultramarines and the terrain/background. (taking notice to the concrete beams on the ground)

agreed- Warhammer 40k IS too cool for the masses.
